VoL Desk, Nov. 05: The complainant Anjuman-e-Saadat Mumbai has withdrawn the complaint against prominent Shia clerics associated with the Shia Ulema Council here in Mumbai today.

The complainant in an email to the concerned Senior Inspector of Police has asked to withdraw the FIR no. 703/2022 under Section 153 A, 153 B and 295 filed against four Shia clerics.

The president of the above mentioned Organisation requested to withdraw the FIR saying that “there was some lacuna in deriving certain content of sermon/majalis which is evident now clear”.

The four clerics are Moulana Akhtar Abass Jaun from UP, Moulana Taqi Raza Abidi from Hyderabad, Moulana Ghulam Mohammad Mehdi from Tamilnadu and Moulana Ghulam Hussain Mattu from Kashmir.
