VoL Desk, Oct. 23: Swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected Executive Body of Zainabiya Women Welfare Society Kargil held today here at Khomeini Tower, Kargil.

Chairman Guardian Council, IKMT Sheikh Mohammad Mohaqiq took the oath from the newly elected members in presence of Chairman IKMT Sheikh Sadiq Rajai, President Baqirya Health Care and Research Centre Dr Ahmad Ali, members of the Election Authority, Guardian Council members, Executive Body IKMT members, and heads of other branches of the organization.

Former President Hajia Zahra Yousufi speaking on the occasion said that the women’s organization is working in different fields in addition to religious activities. She further said that the new executive body needs a training session to impart their work and duties smoothly.

She further informed that the organization is joining new and young educated female members to make the organization functional in different fields.

Newly elected President, Hajiya Tohira Zakiri and other Executive Body members vowed to deepen their service for the welfare and progress of the organisation while keeping its works on priority over their domestic affairs and works.

Chairman Guardian Council, Sheikh Mohammad Mohaqiq lauded the works and contributions of the organization and hoped for more progress in the coming years.

Sheikh Sadiq Rajai emphasised the role of women in the prosperity and progress of every society. He also advised the women’s wing to work in collaboration with other branches of the organisation to learn exposure and work experience while imparting service to the folk women.

General Secretary IKMT Haji Mohammad Hussain moderated the whole session.
