VoL Desk, Oct. 09: Students’ Education Movement of Kargil (SEMOK), Ladakh discussed unemployment issues of Ladakh especially Kargil with Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) here in a meeting today.

Co-Chairman KDA Qambar Ali Akhoon, President National Conference Haji Hanifa Jan, representative AJUIAK Sajjad Hussain Kargili, LAHDC-K representative Abdul Rahim besides many unemployed youths were present during the meeting.

The meeting began with a welcome note by Ahmad Ali vice President SEMOK.

President SEMOK, Ali Murtaza briefed about  the reason of convening the meeting.

During the meeting the student body discussed students related issues including: withdrawal of already advertised post of DSSRB, Pending Exams of 290 Class IV post of district Cadre, delay in the declaration of SSC results, establishment of Ladakh Public Service Commission/LAS, to make LRC mandatory for Gazetted Posts, and other drawbacks in recruitment rules, noted a press release issued by the student organisation.

Sharing their valuable thought the members of KDA assured that they will extend their full support with unemployed youths and soon going to  organize a meeting with their members and also with APEX Body on the above-mentioned points.

The representative of LAHDC Kargil Mr Ali Rahim assured to discuss the above-mentioned issues with the Chairmen, LAHDC Kargil.

The meeting concluded with the vote of thanks by Vice President SEMOK Ladakh.
