Kargil – Behave human at hospital
Doctor, a sincere doctor, a responsible doctor, a doctor loyal to his pledge to be a doctor who serves 24×7 for the public. In a district like Kargil where doctors are short, a doctor hardly manages to take complete sleep, hardly take a relaxed meal, and hardly spends a good time with family. Thus, they don’t need anyone else to add to their stress.
The doctors at the district hospital Kargil complained of inhumane and misbehavior from a section of the public. Starting from entering the district hospital gate; despite refusal from officials, people ramp up their vehicles for parking at the compound where space is already short and congested. On the ticket counter, the people call the doctors by their names like Ghulam Hussain, Bardi, and Ahmad Ali without adding a title prefix for respect.
Some people enter the hospital building during restricted hours disturbing the sanitation staff from cleaning the hospital; meanwhile, some stands knocking on the door to enter by hook and crook.

While attending the indoor patients the attendant takes food inside the wards, which is prohibited as that could cause infection to the patients. More than one person stays as an attendant with a single patient at night hours. Some people even sleep in the same bed as patients.
When the doctors describe his description or suggestion, some people start arguments with them as if they know better than the doctor. It is a fact that consumers can’t judge the service and product in the health sector but the monitoring and watch of the health staff should be from the appropriate authority and not by every consumer.
The public is expected to behave humanely and responsibly in the hospital because everyone has an emergency like you. Everyone’s emergency is severe for himself. Like the clerics, who are your spiritual guide, the doctors are your physical guide.
