VoL Desk, Oct. 16: The election authority of Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust Kargil announced the election results for Executive Body election of its women wing Zainabiya Women Welfare Society, Kargil here today.

As per the election authority, Hajiya Tahira Zakiri has been elected as President, Hajiya Zahra Yousufi as Vice President, Chocho Kulsoom Lankore as General Secretary, Hajiya Siddiqa Azizi as Joint Secretary, Hajiya Batool Rajai as Chief Organisor and  Sakina Banoo BaghKhomeini as Treasurer.

The counting process started on Sunday morning at 10:00 am and concluded at around 3:00 pm.

For smooth functioning of the voting and counting process, the Guardian Council had also formed an election body.

The swearing in ceremony for the newly elected body will be held on October 18.
