VoL Desk, Oct. 27: The Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) Kargil, Ladakh, on behalf of people of Kargil strongly condemned the barbaric terrorist attack in the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Ahmed Ibn Musa
(AS), Shah Chiragh Shiraz, Iran on Wednesday.

Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) Kargil at this juncture condole the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamnaie and the people of Islamic Republic of Iran, read a statement issued by the General Secretary of the organization.

We also condole and express solidarity with the families of the martyred and pray Almighty Allah for speedy recovery of those injured in this incident.

At least 15 people were killed Wednesday in the attack on a key Shiite Muslim shrine in southern Iran, state media said, with the Islamic State group claiming the assault.

The attack carried out by an armed “terrorist” during evening prayers at the Shah Cheragh mausoleum in the city of Shiraz also wounded at least 19 people, state television said.

Earlier reports said 13 people were killed and 40 wounded, and that three assailants were involved.
