VoL Desk, Oct. 14: On the concluding day of Hafta-e-Wahdat (week of unity) on the occasion of the auspicious birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) and Imam Jaffar Sadiq (a.s), Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust and Anjuman Jamiat Ulema Isna Ashriya (AJUIA) Kargil conducted congregations here at Kargil.

The IKMT congregation held at Musalla Imam Khomeini Minji and AJUIAK conducted the event at Islamia School Kargil on Friday.

On the occasion, Syed Kazim Sabiri presided as the Chief Guest while Imam Juma Hanafiya Masjid Kargil Moulana Tasleem Arif and representative of Noorbakshia sect Sheikh Anayat Ali Ramazani presided as a special guest at the IKMT congregation.

A number of clerics from across the district among thousands of believers attended the congregation showing rich tribute to the Prophet of Islam who is a great bounty for the whole world.

Molana Tasleem Arif, and Sheikh Hussain Lutfi while addressing the gathering emphasized making the Prophet a role model for life. They also lashed the new innovations and social evils in marriages in the district that are against Islamic Sharia and moral principles.

Ramazani said that the Almighty Allah has revealed the Prophet Mohammad as a role model for the people who is a perfect human without any human error or evil thus it is upon the people whether follow him as a model or not.

Poets and voice artists thrilled the audience with beautiful naats in praise of Prophet Mohammad (SAW).

Pertinent to mention that the IKMT had conducted a week-long congregation at Jama Masjid Kargil to mark the week of unity called Hafta-e-Wahdat. The events were organized by different villages on different days. The concluding ceremony was hosted by Kargil Town and Goma Kargil.
