Ex Councillor Hajiya Marziya passes away
VoL Desk, Oct 24: Former Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Hajiya Marziya passes away to the eternal abode on Sunday at Jammu where her last rituals were performed. She was 54 years old.
Hajiya Marziya served as a nominated women Councillor at the LAHDC Kargil.
CEC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan condoled the sad demise of Hajiya Marziya, where he said that Marziya was a very humble and determined lady who never failed in her duty towards the people adding that she was a leader par excellence.

Khan extended solidarity with the grieved family and prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
The District Congress Committee (DCC) also condoled the sad demise of Hajia Marziya Bano, in a press note today.
Working President Ladakh Territorial Congress Mr. Asgar Ali Karbalaie and district President District Congress Committee, Kargil in their messages have expressed their deep sympathy and solidarity with the members of the bereaved family in this hour of grief.
The sitting Councilors of Congress Party in LAHDC, Kargil, senior party functionaries, office bearers and workers have also expressed their condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family.
It was stated that the deceased besides being a seasoned politician was also a noble human being, polite, humble and has always remained social and helpful to the general public.
The members prayed rich tributes to the departed soul and conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family to bear this great loss with courage and fortitude.
