DSSRB Recruitments: Kargil students concerned over high application fee
VoL Desk, Oct. 29: After the notification inviting application for 83 District Cadre Posts by the Kargil Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (KSSRB), students seems concerned about the application fee which is high as compared to similar recruitment process in Leh District.
The students took to tweeter to report their concern, a Social Media platform where most of the Secretaries and District Officers are easily available.
A handle named Tashi Nurbu reported that the recent announcement of vacancies of both districts have some difference in it. First, the duration of the Exam, and second, the fee for application.

Nurbu shared screen shots of the notifications of both the district that show Rs 500 for unreserved and Rs 400 for other categories as application fee for the District Cadre posts in Kargil District. While the Application fee in Leh district is Rs 200 only.
“Aspirants of kargil district losing hope once again, they are scared”, added Nurbu while tagging DC Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve, CEC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan, LG Ladakh RK Mathur, Department of Information and Public Relations Kargil and the All Kargil Ladakh Students Association Delhi (AKSAD).
“The following comparison deserves our attention and a serious introspection from LAHDC-KSSRB”, replied AKSAD.
Replying to the notification tweeted by the DIPR Kargil, a handle named Murtaza Qasimi replied, “Dear sir Why application fees are high as compare to SSRB LEH…..”
Another issue raised by the students is the exam timing which is 120 minutes in Kargil and 90 minutes in Leh. “Timing of examination + Application fee + carrying marks and negative marks are matter of consideration for KSSRB candidates…. !! @Aksad4u @Semokladakh @santoshsukhdeve @FerozKhan_Kgl requesting to consider this issue closely…”, replied Baqir.
