VoL Desk, Sep. 21: The Lieutenant Governor, Ladakh Radha Krishna Mathur condoled the families of ice hockey player Tsetan Dolma & footballer Rigzin Lamo who lost their lives in an unfortunate accident in Ramban recently, tweeted the LG Office.

“My deepest condolences to the families of our ice hockey player Tsetan Dolma & footballer Rigzin Lamo who lost their lives in an unfortunate accident in Ramban recently.”, read the tweet.

The LG has announced an ex gratia relief of Rs. 5 lakhs each to the next of kins of the two deceased.
The LG also condoled the untimely loss of Ms. Harman Anand in the same unfortunate incident. She was a social worker operating the Anjana Charitable Organisation.

“Her contribution in uplifting the far flung and inaccessible rural areas will always be remembered”, the LG maintained in the tweet.

The two female had lost lives after their car was hit by a canter truck on the Srinagar-Jammu highway and fell into a gorge near Dalwas area of Batote in Ramban district late Monday afternoon, police had said.
