Mohd Jabir from Kargil selected for National Best Teachers Award 2022
VoL Desk, August 27: Among 46 teachers from across the country, Mohammad Jabir from Pashkum village of Kargil district has been selected for the best teacher National Award 2022, announced the Ministry of Education, Government of India on Thursday.
Mohammad Jabir is serving as a teacher for the last 20 years including eleven years of service as a Government teacher. Currently, he is deputed at the Government Middle School Karit for the last two years.
Earlier Mohd Jabir served at the Mutahhary Public School Akchamal, Mutahhary Public School Pushkum, and Kendra Vidhyalaya. He is also an in-service academic counselor for the B.Ed course of the IGNOU.

Mohammad Jabir has published seven research papers in different national and international journals including the journal of the Ministry of Education/ NCERT named “The voice of teachers and teacher educators”.
Mohammad Jabir adopted 22 innovative methods/ techniques in teaching the students at school that include learning while clapping, singing with Ladakhi flavor, enjoying English speaking, self-evaluation after reading, teaching in the open air, and offline study material during the COVID pandemic, teaching via slogan technique and many more.
While providing notes to students Mr. Jabir uses cursive font type to make good and uniform writing among the school students.
Mr. Jabir also provides training to teachers while he focuses on motivating teachers for joyful teaching-learning processes.
