VoL Desk, August 15: Kendra Vidyalaya, Kargil celebrated the Independence day with patriotic zeal and fervour at KV Kargil campus atvTrespone.

The programme started at 9:00 am with hoisting of the national flag by the Principal, KV Kargil. All the students were holding a national flag in their hands which reflected their patriotism and their enthusiasm.

On 12th of August, Tiranga rally was also organised in which all the students participated very keenly and made their presence felt and also showered patriotism on the streets of Kargil.

On August 15, the programme started with hoisting of the national flag followed by a speech by the Principal, KV Kargil. Mr. D.R. Inkhiya (PGT Hindi) moderated the whole programme.

The students of the school thrilled the audience with patriotic and cultural programme that include Jyoti Kumari (class IX), Shambhavi Gangapure (class X), Vayamdeep (class V) Shahida, Sakina, Saniya (class V), and Aliya (class III).

MR. D.R. Inkhiya delivered a speech, regarding the freedom struggle afresh in the minds of one and all.

To conclude the programme, Principal KV Kargil presented his views on the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and emphasised the contribution of people from different walks of life and also by the people of all castes and religions to make the country free from British rule.
