CEC Feroz Khan inaugurates Oxygen Plant at District Hospital installed by NHPC
VoL Desk, July 26: Chairman and CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Mr. Feroz Ahmed Khan, inaugurated 500 LPM PSA Oxygen Plant installed by NHPC Ltd. under CSR&SD initiative at District Hospital, Kargil.
On the occasion, Executive Councillor for Works and Power, Mr. Syed Mehdi, Group General Manager, Chutak Power Station & Nimoo Bazgo Power Station Mr. Bikram Singh, and Cjief Medical Officer, Dr. Munwar Hussain Wazir, were present.
With the objective to save life and in view of immense demand of medical oxygen during Covid pandemic and to strengthen the health care service two number of 500 LPM PSA Oxygen Plant is installed, one at District Hospital, Kargil and another at Community Health Centre, Sankoo.
The total Budget for 02 number of 500 LPM PSA Oxygen Plant installed at Community Health Centre, Sankoo, Kargil and District Hospital, Kargil is Rs. 2.39 crores out of which Rs. 2.00 crores has been borne by NHPC Limited under its CSR&SD initiative and balance of Rs. 39.00 lakhs has been funded by District Administration, Kargil.
