VoL Desk, June 27: The Office of the Deputy Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer, Leh has directed to close Lamdon Senior Secondary School, Leh as influenzas like illness reported from the school.

The Chief Medical Officer reported 91 cases of influenzas type illness cases from the school students.

Subsequently, the DC who is also the District Disaster Management Authority in a letter to the Principal, Lamdon Sr. Secondary School, Leh ordered the closure of the school.

The Administration as a precautionary measure has directed to close down the institution for 05 days.
