KARGIL, JUNE 03, 2022: Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today inspected Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) projects at Minjee Gund, Minjee, Gramthang and Chay Chay Thang.

The DC was accompanied by Superintending Engineer Hydraulics Er. Tashi Tundup, Executive Engineer PHE Kargil, Er. Mohd Hassan, Project Management Unit, District Team LeaderKargil Dhananjay Singh and other concerned officials of the PHE Department.

The PRI members of Minjee village appraised the Deputy Commissioner about the status of work execution on the projects.

During the visit, it was found that the JJM project at Chay Chay Thang is at the completion stage and it was decided to inaugurate the project soon for the public interest.

DC Santosh instructed the PHE officials to execute the remaining works on Chay Chay Thang project before the inauguration which is expected soon. 

The DC also inspected the trench at Gramthang, Dug Well and Service Reservoir at Minjee. It was found that the Dug well has been completed. The Deputy Commissioner instructed the concerned officials to complete the projects as soon as possible.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed the PHE department to ensure best quality of work. He urged the PRI members and local population to support the department in the execution of this prestigious scheme.
