Leh, April 28: Secretary Power and New & Renewable Energy Department, UT Ladakh, Ravinder Kumar visited the site of the 50 MW Solar Power Project at Taru, Leh to review the progress of the work. 

During his visit, the Secretary interacted with the officials of SECI (Solar Energy Corporation of India) & TATA Power. He directed the officials to complete the project within the stipulated time.

Project Manager, SECI, Debajyoti apprised the Secretary about the timeline of the project and informed him that SECI has already deputed their team permanently in Leh for the timely completion of the project.

The officials from the TATA Power also informed that the project is expected to be completed as per the timeline and work has already started on the site with more resources, manpower & machinery on the site in the next few weeks.
