Kargil, April 21, 2022: Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) Kargil on behalf of the people of Kargil is outraged and strongly condemns the twin bomb attack on Abdur Rahim Shahid High School in Kabul on Tuesday martyring scores of innocent school children and injuring more than hundred belonging to the minority Shia Hazara Community by terrorists, stated a press release issued by the organization.

We believe that takfiri terrorists have committed yet another crime against the ethnic-religious Hazara Shia minority shedding the blood of innocent teenagers.

IKMT expresses deep concern about the continued brutal killings of the Hazara Shias in Afghanistan and in Queta other places in Pakistan by unabated terrorist forces and condemns the failure of the Governments of Afghanistan and Pakistan in protecting the lives of the minorities.

It also expresses solidarity with the Shia Hazara Community at this juncture and condoles the bereaved families of victims. IKMT urges the Government of India and the International Community to pressurize the governments of Afghanistan and Pakistan to bring the culprits to book at the earliest and ensure the protection of minority Shia communities in those countries.
