VoL Desk, March 13, 2022: Two delegations of Zanskar representing students fraternity and Buddhist fraternity called upon the Lieutenant Governor, R K Mathur here today, informed the LG Office in a tweet.

A delegation led by President, All Zanskar Student Association, Stanzin Idwong apprised the LG regarding the need of “Bhoti” teachers in all the government schools of Kargil district and creation of posts suitably.

He further requested to expedite advertisement of posts created at the UT-level.

On the other side, members of Zanskar Buddhist Association led by President Passang Lhawang also called on the LG Ladakh and requested intervention in issues related to Zanskar sub-division viz. inclusion of Rangdum and adjoining areas with Zanskar sub-division for safeguarding its interests and protecting its status and territorial identity.
