LAACL Leh organises workshops to spread awareness of rich cultural heritage
Leh, March 07: Ladakh Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (LAACL), Leh organised cultural workshops in various villages of Leh district for the revival and to spread awareness about the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Ladakh, from February 5 to 27, as a part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration.
LAACL Leh collaborated with various associations and societies to organise the workshops at different villages, such as Matho, Phyang, Domkhar, Hanu, Spituk, Nubra, Kargyam, Achinathang and Stok.
The workshops also aimed at encouraging the youths and people from all sections of the society to take part and make them aware of the rich culture and heritage of Ladakh.

The participants appreciated the efforts of the Cultural Academy to revive the Ladakhi art, culture and heritage and gave positive feedback to the workshop.
Ladakh Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Leh would soon organise cultural workshops in many other villages as well.
