VoL Desk, March 04, 2022: The Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT) Kargil and Anjuman Sahab Zaman (ASZ) Sankoo condemned the cold blooded killing of Shias during Friday Prayers at a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan today.

In a press release, the IKMT, Kargil on behalf of people of Kargil strongly condemned the barbaric killing of more than 30 Shia devotees during Friday Prayers today on 4th March 2022, including the Juma Imam Aga Irshad Hussain belonging to the minority Shia Community.

The organisation expresses deep concern on the continued brutal killings of the Shias in religous places in Pakistan by unabated terrorist forces and condemn the failure of Government of Pakistan in protecting the lives of the minorities.

IKMT also express solidarity with the Shia Community of Pakistan at this juncture and condole the bereaved families of victims. It
urges Government Of India and International Community to pressurize
the Government of Pakistan to bring the culprits to book at the earliest and ensure protection to minority Shia Community in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the Anjuman Sahib Zaman Sankoo also expressed concern over the attack and questioned the Pakistan government on their failure to protect the minority community. The ASZ demanded to punish the terrorists for this brutal attack.
