VoL Desk, February 26, 2022: Sheikh Khadim Sadiqi who leads the Friday congregational prayers at Musalla Imam Minji, Kargil condemned the featuring of Ayatollah Khomeini’s image linking with the militants in the upcoming film “the Kashmir files”.

Sheikh Khadim expressed strong resentment during the Friday Sermon at Musalla Imam, Minji led by Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust Kargil.

Sheikh Khadim said that the featuring and portraying of Ayatollah Khomeini with militants is a cunning ploy to weaken the friendly relations between Iran and India.

The Kashmir Files is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language film written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Abhishek Agarwal starring Mithun Chakraborty and Anupam Kher. The film tells the story of the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in the early 1990’s due to the Kashmir Insurgency.

The film is scheduled to release on 11 March 2022.
