VoL Desk, February 25, 2022: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan applauded the students of Class 10^th from Kargil district for scoring good results in the recently declared annual regular results 2021.

“Exam results reinforces confidence among students. Having gone through the annual results of the class X, it gives me immense pleasure to note that our students have performed quite well scoring an overall pass percentage of 88.82% with the boys scoring 89.71% and the girls scoring 88.06%. Evidently, the boys have fared a little better in terms of percentage however on a closer look one can find that the girl students fare way higher in terms of enrolment thereby surpassing the boys in absolute terms.

“With fourteen govt schools and nine private schools achieving cent percent result, all the applause and appreciation must go to the teachers, students and their parents. I would like to extend warm congratulations to Nono Shahid Hussain S/o Zakir Hussain, a student of MPS Baroo (99.2%) and Nomo Sania Kulsum D/o Haji Alli Khan, a student of Jaffaria Academy of Modern Education (97.2%) for bagging the first & second positions respectively.

“I would also like to congratulate Nomo Haseena Banoo of HSS Lankerchay (96.4%) who has scored the highest marks from among the students of government schools followed by Nomo Raziya Banoo of HS Samrah (96%) and Nono Mohammad Ali of HS Thasgam Sankoo (93.8%).

“Collective efforts from all stake holders is needed for achieving even better performance. LAHDC Kargil strives to provide better education to the students and solicits the cooperation of the general public, the students and the teaching fraternity in its endeavour to further improve the standard of education in the district”, maintained the CEC.
