KARGIL, JANUARY 27, 2022: Councilor Baroo-Minjee Constituency, LAHDC Kargil, Ghulam Mehdi Sheikh distribted heating appliances for winter tuition centres being run by Department of Education in the schools of Baroo and Minji villages.

The Councilor has so far distributed heat pillars at Government High School Baroo, Government Middle School Titichumik, Government Middle School Minjee Gund, Government High School Minjee and Government Middle School Gongma Minjee from his Councilor’s Constituency Development Fund.

It would be a great help for those students who study winter tuition at these centres during harsh winter conditions. On this occasion the Councilor said that more such facilities shall be provided in future too for ensuring smooth educational activities for the students in Baroo-Minjee Constituency.

The councilor further said that Smart classroom technologies, computers and electric generator sets has already been provided to various schools in the constituency from his CCDF as an effort to make the schools technologically upgraded along with the infrastructal measures being taken up under other such schemes being implemented by the district administration.

Department of Education and the school authorities have expressed gratitude to the Councilor for continuously extending support, while the efforts has been widely appreciated in the public sphere as well.
