Kargil boxer bags Gold Medal at Mumbai
KARGIL, DECEMBER 20, 2021: Boxer from Kargil district Murtaza Ali Khuddam has won Gold Medal for Ladakh in Mixed Martial Arts Nationals at Mumbai in 79 kg category by knocking down his opponent in 1st round of EC. The LAHDC Kargil congratulated Ali Khuddam for his performance.
The Mixed Martial Arts championship was organized by the Mixed Martial Arts Federation of India (MMAFI). Executive Councillor LAHDC Kargil Aga Syed Abbas Razvi presided as Chief Guest, while Ladakh Mixed Martial Arts Association with its President Mehdi Naseri and General Secretary Syed Mohammad Raza were also present on the occasion.
The Ladakh team came third in the National Championships here in Mumbai with one Gold Medal, one silver, and two bronze. “Proudly announce that MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Association of Ladakh with one Gold medal and several bronze and silver bags third position at MMAFI National Championships 2021 here at Mumbai. Would like to thank everyone who supported us and our fighters”, tweeted EC Syed Abass.
