Div Com Ladakh conducts field verification of electoral forms in Leh
Leh, Dec 10: Divisional Commissioner Ladakh Saugat Biswas, today led a field visit along with Assistant Electoral Registration Officer, Leh, Ataullah Khan and concerned officers from Election Office, Leh for house to house sample verification of electoral forms as a part of the ongoing Special Summary Revision of the Photo Electoral Roll-2022 in Ladakh. Biswas is also Roll Observer in UT Ladakh for the Special Summary Revision.
Div Com physically verified the correctness of various forms filled by the voters related to electoral roll such as Form 6 for new enrolled names in the electoral roll, Form 7 for deletion and duplicacy and Form 8 for correction of particulars in the electoral roll.
He toured various areas in Skampari, Thiksey and Chomoling area of Leh District.
