CEC Leh felicitates cyclist Tsewang Norboo
Leh, Dec 14: Appreciating the outstanding achievements of a young cyclist from Ladakh, Tsewang Norboo, a student of Lamdon School Leh in various categories of national-level MTB championships, the Chairman/ CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson felicitated the cyclist at his office today.
CEC Gyalson congratulated cyclist Norboo for representing U.T Ladakh at various national events and wished him luck for the upcoming Khelo India Youth Games at Haryana.
CEC Tashi Gyalson also presented him a token of appreciation for his accomplishments from the Hill Council and assured him to assist him further as well.

A talented and hard working young lad from my hamlet who began cycling at a tender age and was part of Cycling Race organised by our VKV Association way back in 2018 and stood 1st in Junior Cat of cyclists for the events organised. Later he joined a mini cycle race organised for the village boys at Saspol (via Alchi) and bagged 1st position (in 6 kms race)
Such dedivated sports persons should be given all assistance to prove their mettle.
Highly impressed with his performanes in major events organised at national level thus bringing many laurels to the village, his family and Ladakh as a whole.
Wish him success in his future endeavors.
