Leh, May 21: As a part of Covid mitigation measure, the District Administration, Leh, today collected swab samples of 50% of shopkeepers, including grocery/vegetable sellers and other essential commodities shops, during a drive in the Khaltsi sub-division.

Swab samples were collected from shopkeepers who were allowed to open their shops during the ongoing Covid curfew. The swab samples of the remaining 50% of shopkeepers would be collected tomorrow to avoid any inconvenience to the public.

The sampling drive took place in the presence of Naib Tehsildar, Khaltsi, Mohammad Yousuf; Station House Officer (SHO), Khaltsi, Skarma Angchuk; Behavioural Health Worker (BHW) Community Health Centre, Khaltsi, Tsweang Namgyal; paramedical staffs and police personnel.
