With Spike in Covid Cases DC Leh visits Care Centres
Leh, April 14: Keeping in view the sudden spike in the number of Covid-19 cases, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Leh, Shrikant Suse, today conducted a day-long visit to Covid-19 Care Centres (CCC) in Leh town and surrounding suburban areas. He inspected the White House, Lachumir Spituk, Radha Swamy Ashram, Chuchot Yokma and The Last Resort, which are the designated CCCs.
DC Leh Shrikant Suse inquired about the arrangement at these centres like food, cleanliness, medical care etc. He directed nodal officers of all CCCs to provide the best possible facilities at centres. He also interacted with staff present at these locations and discussed issues faced by them. He directed strict compliance of all COVID-19 SOPs at the CCCs.
DC Leh also visited the oxygen generation plants in the Phyang industrial estate and Chuchot Yokma. He inquired about the current capacity of these oxygen plants to provide medical oxygen to COVID hospitals. He directed the concerned officials to ensure a smooth and hassle-free supply of medical oxygen to all health institutions engaged in treating the Covid-19 patients.
