RTO issues circular for re-registration of vehicles bought from outside Ladakh
KARGIL, APRIL 05, 2021: Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Ladakh in a recent circular has informed the general public in Ladakh to re-register their vehicles bought from outside Ladakh.
The circular reads that all persons who have bought vehicles from outside of UT Ladakh should get their vehicles re-registered with ARTO Leh/ ARTO Kargil as per Section 47, 48, 49 and 50 of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988 and Rule 54 of Central Motor Vehicle Rules 1989.
All such persons who need to re-register their have also been requested to approach their respective ARTOs along with relevant documents for re-registration of vehicles within 15 days from issuance of this circular which was issued on 2nd April, 2021 failing which action under rules shall be initiated against the defaulters, the circular informed.

Bhohot Galat fasala hey UT administration ladakh India Ka part hay
All the vehicles owner should thinks about it and raised our voice. As per this circular it should be done within fifteen days but for far flang area like Zanskar still the road is closed and how people can approached. All this sudden action must avoid and people should not suffer in this Corona time.
