KARGIL, APRIL 15, 2021: Office of the Deputy Registrar Cooperatives UT Ladakh on the directions of the UT, District administration and LAHDC Leh has made arrangements of essential commodities in Leh district in view of Holy month of Ramazan, maintained a press release issued by the department.

“In view of the shortage of some of the essential commodities and also the ensuing of the holy month of Ramazan, the department of Cooperative, Leh on the directions of the district and UT Administration and LAHDC, Leh , has procured essential commodity like milk which was in acute shortage in Leh market, airlifted through Army Air Service about 12MT of Amul Taza milk on 14.04.2021 which is being made available to general public through various Cooperative Consumer outlets in Leh and in the Sub-Divisional Cooperative Stores”, the press release read.

In addition to it, about 02 quintals of dates has also been received on 13.04.2021 and is also been provided through the said retail outlets in Leh market. Further the Cooperative store has sufficient stock of various consumer items viz refined oil, pulses, butter, tomato puree and other items to last for next 2-3 weeks to meet the demands of the general public.
