SEMoK Delegation Called on LG Ladakh
KARGIL, MARCH 18, 2021: Students Education Movement of Kargil Ladakh (SEMoK Ladakh) presented a memorandum to the LG Ladakh regarded the issues of students and unemployed youths of Ladakh.
The memorandum was submitted by a delegation of the students’ body who met with the LG here at LG Office Leh. The students requested the LG UT Ladakh to take immediate necessary actions in resolving the issues.
The delegation was comprised of the Acting President Mr Sadiq Ali, General Secretary Ahmed Qadire and the spoke person of Aluminie Council Hassan Hundurmani.
The issues highlighted in memorandum comprised of establishment of Ladakh Public Service Commission (LPSC), Domicile Law/ Requirement Rules for Ladakh, Centres for Academic and Professional Exams in Kargil, Establishment of separate Board of School Education for Ladakh, Introduction of New Subjects at Higher Secondaries, conduct of pending Examination of various post which are advertised by DSSRB Kargil in2019 and declare result of class IV examination, said a press release issued by the organization.
The delegation also demanded for rotation of UT Secretariats/Shifting of Capital and also recorded objection regarding promotion of Masters/Teachers as a +2 Lecturers against the vecant post, the press release added.
The Lt. Governer assured SEMOK that all pending exams of DSSRB Kargil/Leh will be conduct in this year as soon as possible. He further assured that pending result of 2016 Class IV will be declared soon. He said that other issues will take up with concerned authorities and would resolve them as soon as possible.
The SEMOK delegation also met with Commissioner Secretary School Education Ladakh and discussed the various issues of Schools of UT Ladakh .
SEMOK also presented a memorandum regarding the reconstruction of District Library to Lt. Governor and Commissioner Secretary UT Ladakh.
