KARGIL MARCH 05, 2021: The Directorate of Social/Tribal Department Ladakh Headquarter Kargil in a fresh notification has informed all concerned that on demand from various quarters and to give last opportunity to the left out Scheduled Tribe students, the issue with regard to time slot for filing and verification of online applications by “Scheduled Tribe” students of UT of Ladakh for grant of Scholarship under “Post Matric Scholarship” scheme of Ministry of Tribal Affairs for the year 2020-21 on National Scholarship Portal(www.scholarships.gov.in) was taken up with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and National Scholarship Portal.

In this regard it has been informed to the interested students and applicants that the last date for filling the online applications by the students, who could not apply earlier has been extended up to 10th of March 2021.

Moreover, the last date for verification of applications by concerned Nodal Officers has been fixed up to the 12th of March 2021, adding that this is the last opportunity only for eligible left out students and no further extension is possible. 

The other terms and conditions contained in Notice issued vide No: DSWL/Scholarship/2020/1013-24, Dated: 30-09-2020 shall remain the same, reads the notice.
