Govt High School Parkachik Raise Issues on Annual Cultural, Ethnic Food Festival Day
Parkachik, March 06, 2021: Government High School Parkachik organized annual cultural programme and ethnic food festival here on Saturday with full enthusiasm and fanfare.
On the occasion, Nambardar Ahmad Ali chaired as the Chief Guest among Sarpanch, panch, parents and hundreds of villagers.
Varieties of ethnic foods of Kargil, Ladakh were displayed including Tanten, Marzan, Phamer, Khulaq, Popot, thalkhur, Brasthuk, yos, Nasphe, and Zderchung among many other festive foods.
Earlier the incharge Headmaster Ghulam Mehdi presented the welcome address. With colorful ethnic dresses, the students enthralled the audience with their talented cultural performance.
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest expressed gratitude to the teaching staff in making GHS Parkachik the pride of the region and grooming the future generations.
He felicitated the children for staging an excellent show of talent in variety of programmes. The function concluded with the prize distribution among the well performed students.
While highlighting different issues at the school, Nambardar pointed over shortage of teaching Staffs at Govt High school Parkachik. The Nambardar of the village said, that there are merely two teacher and one Master to cater the educational need of the students. This deficiency in teaching staffs in term of number is affecting the quality of education in the institution.
The Nambardar says that he brought the issue in notice repeatedly to the concerned authority but no action has taken yet.
The speakers requested the new Deputy Commissioner and CEO LAHDC Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve IAS and Directorate of School Education UT Ladakh and other concerned Department to look into the matter at an earliest.
