KARGIL, MARCH 01, 2021: The Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer (SDAO) Zanskar organized a one day training camp for farmers at Youlsum Rejing, Zanskar here on Sunday.

Officiating Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zanskar Tsewang Rigzin, SDAO Zanskar Tsering Nurboo besides other concerned officers and officials besides farmers in good number were present during the awareness camp.

More than 300 hundred farmers participated in the training programme where they were enlightened about tips and techniques about enhancing agricultural production.

Meanwhile, SDAO Zanskar Tsering Nurboo educated the farmers about the modern techniques of raising field crops.

Farmers were also informed about the various schemes for their welfare which are being implemented by the Agriculture Department Ladakh UT.
