KARGIL, MARCH 13, 2021: Cooperative Department Zanskar organized one day awareness cum training camp at Zanskar here today.

Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zanskar Sonam Dorjay, Sarpanchs, Panchs, Lambardars besides the members and salesmen of all the functional cooperative societies of Zanskar Sub Division were present on the occasion.

While addressing the gathering, SDM Zanskar Sonam Dorjay hailed the Department of Cooperatives for organizing awareness and training programme.

He also appreciated the DRC Kargil, ARC Zanskar and their team for providing fresh vegetables to the public of Zanskar via road during the winters this year. 

Assistant Registrar Cooperative Societies, Zanskar Tsering Nurboo while welcoming the participants informed about the different schemes of the department and availability of essential commodities and fertilizers for distribution among the farmers of Zanskar Sub Division. 

He also informed that as on date, 1 regional and 7 primary cooperative societies are functioning in the sub division.
