KARGIL, MARCH 07, 2021: The Choralla Karsha team lifted the CEC Archery Cup, 2021 by beating Snow Leopard Rantaksha during the final match held at Sports Stadium Zanskar here today.

The tournament was organized by the Youth Services and Sports Department Zanskar.
Officiating Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Zanskar Tsewang Rigzin was the chief guest on the occasion while President Gonpa Association Zanksar was the guest of honour.

Presidents of LBA Zanskar, Muslim Association Zanksar and LBA Youth Wing Zanskar were the special guests besides all the sub divisional officers were present during the closing ceremony.

The Kang-Sing Youlang team bagged the third position in the tournament and Tsering Angchok of Snow Leopard Rantaksha with an individual score of 30 points was declared man of the series in this tournament.

Speaking on the occasion, the Officiating SDM Zanskar appreciated the archery teams for participating in the event and also congratulated the winner and runners up teams.

Zonal Physical Education Officer Zanskar Tsering Tashi congratulated all teams for participating in the tournament and urged them to strive to preserve their traditional culture and dress.

Meanwhile, a colourful cultural program was presented by the participating teams on the occasion.
