Kargil/ February 24, 2021: Three months long skill development course for women organized by the Women Wing of Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust, Zainabia Women Welfare Society, Kargil concluded here in Kargil today.

On the occasion, Election Officer/Programme Officer ICDS Kargil Mrs Nargis Banoo was the Chief Guest, while Vice-Chairman for Religious Affairs Sheikh Bashir Shakir chaired the president ship. In-charge District Handloom Officer Shri Morup Mangyal, Senior Guardian Council member Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai, Vice-Chairman Baseej-e-Rohaniyon Sheikh Hussain Rajaei and members/representatives of the sub organs of Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust, Kargil were made their presence in the programme.

In the three months long course the candidates were trained in tailoring, embroidery, and knitting.

In the beginning 25 candidates had enrolled while 22 have completed the course. The idea of the programme is to make the folk women self-reliant.

Hajia Batool Rajaei and Miss Parveen Alikoo were the resource persons for the skill development course. At the end the participants were facilitated with certificates.
