KARGIL, FEBRUARY 12, 2021: Office of the Chief Education Officer Kargil directed to start offline classes in areas with no internet facility with effect from 15 February, said an order from the office of the CEO.

Consequent upon the approval given by the Deputy Commissioner/ CEO LAHDC Kargil for conduct of offline classes for the students of non-internet areas/schools, all the head of the offices/institutions are hereby directed to start offline classes in their respective schools”, maintained the order.

The circular ordered to engage  academic staff of the concerned schools with strict observance of Covid-19 SoPs and heating  arrangement with the following strict instructions:

“The respective heads of the institutions will ensure that no students remain absent and all the enrolled students take regular part in curmculam and co-curricular activities.”

“The students shall be instructed to come to schools with face mask. However the school shall maintain some stock of face mask to be used in case of any students turns out to be without mask.”

“Heating arrangement shall be made in all the schools to avoid inconvenience to the students and the staff.”

“The institutions head shall ensure the attendance of all the teachers and submit the same to this office as well as to ZEO Office on daily basis.”

“The head of the institution/office shall be personally responsible in case of non compliance of the orders. Funds on account of heating and office charges shall be released by this office separately”, maintained the order.
