Zanksar, February 09, 2021: Managing Director NHIDCL Sh. KK Pathak carried out an aerial survey of Zanskar valley on Tuesday.

The MD was accompanied by Sh. Sanjiv Malik, Executive Director-III and Sh. BK Chand, Offg Executive Director of NHIDCL’s Regional Office Ladakh.

Sh. Pathak, after landing at Zanskar, met staff of NHIDCL’s Site Office Padum, which is being kept functional throughout the year, and appreciated the work done by each and every member despite extreme cold conditions in Zanskar Valley.

On the occasion, Mr Lobzang Tashi, TGE, of SO Padum was awarded with MD Commendation Card at Padum.

Sh. Pathak also met with locals at Padum and the locals appreciated the NHIDCL’s efforts and their commitment for round the year connectivity of Zanskar Valley. Thereafter, Sh. Pathak visited site office Upshi near Karu in Leh District.
