Zanskar/ February 10, 2021: Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar Sonam Dorjay distributed fresh vegetables among people in Zanskar for the first time in winter season.

The arrangement to distribute vegetable in the far flung region was made by LAHDC and District administration Kargil.

As per reports, thirty quintals of vegetables comprised of cabbages, tomatoes, carrot, capsicum, kinnow and other vegetables were distributed among people.

The vegetables were delivered to Zanskar via the Pensila Pass that is opened this year without much interruption.

Male, female, Monks, Nuns and
aged person stood in queues to get the fresh vegetables. 3kgs per Ration Card Holder were
distributed through Cooperative Society Zanskar.

as well as DRC Kargil for dispatching fresh vegetables in this harsh weather.
