Zanskar, February 21, 2021: Kargil War Hero Memorial Archery Tournament 2021 concluded today here at Sport Stadium Zanskar.

The tournament was organized by Social Welfare and Culture Preservation Society in loving memory of late Tsewang Rigzin (VRC).

Officiating Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar Sh. Tsering Nurboo, Officer Commanding Army Camp Padum Maj. Ashish Deshmukh among other sub divisional level officers were present on the occasion.

A total of 30 teams participated in the tournament where the Choralla Karsha Team lifted the cup at Final match after defeating Nyari Zangla. The third position goes to Royal
Challenger Ruk Ruk.

Sh. Nawang Samtan from Ex-Serviceman Team declared Man of the Series with individual score of 45 points.

Speaking on the occasion Sh. Tsering Nurboo appreciated the participants and congratulated the winner and runner up teams and also stressed the Archers to be prepared for further competition under various category at District/State level.
