Kargil/ February 11, 2021: District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary has through an order issued today allowed public transport to ply with full seating capacity  on normal fare/rates approved by the competent authority subject to adherence of COVID-19 SOPs.

The order states that wearing of face mask by the drivers and passengers is compulsory and Rs 1000 fine shall be imposed against anyone violating the said order.

The order further states that no overloading of even a single passenger shall be allowed, and in case of any sort of violation in this regard, a fine of Rs 2000 shall be charged from the driver/owner of the vehicle.

Any violation of these conditions shall be dealt strictly under law, reads the order.
