Leh, February 22, 2021: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Leh/ CEO, LAHDC Leh, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse today chaired a review meeting with the officials of the Revenue Department.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Leh, Sonam Chosjor; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Leh, Rigzin Spalgon, Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), Tehsildars, and Naib Tehsildars of all tehsils of Leh district. 

Major issues discussed in the meeting were strengthening infrastructure and personnel management in the Revenue Department, the status of encroachment on the state land, updation of land records, pending mutations, land acquisition cases, functions revenue courts, and public grievance management.

DC Leh, Shrikant Suse directed the officials to prepare a land bank of state land for better planning of development projects and fencing of all prime state lands to ensure protection from encroachments. He also directed the officials to hold public grievances redressal camps while adhering to Covid-19 protocol for which schedule will be notified shortly.

DC Leh, Shrikant Suse enjoined upon all officials of the Revenue Department to work with honesty, efficiency, and sensitivity to public demands.
