KARGIL FEBRUARY 15, 2021: Health Department Kargil organized an awareness programme on COVID-19 vaccination for Anganwadi Workers of Sankoo Block at Community Health Center (CHC), Sankoo here today.

District Immunization Officer Kargil Dr Muhammad Abbass, Block Medical Officer Sankoo Dr Ghulam Hussain, Programme Officer ICDS Sankoo Gulnar Banoo, Community Health Officer Kargil Syed Muhammad Shah besides other concerned officers and Anganwadi Workers were present during the programme.

During the course of the awareness programme, speakers enlightened the Anganwadi Workers about the benefits of COVID-19 vaccine as a safe and immunogenic vaccine that acts as a safeguard against the deadly Corona Virus.

At the end of the programme, about 20 Anganwadi Workers listed their names for 1st dose of COVID-19 vaccination.
