LAHDC Greet People of Aryan Valley on Nausar
Kargil/ Jan. 07: Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan, Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Baseer ul Haq Choudhary and the Executive Councillors have extended their heartfelt greetings to the people of Aryan Valley on the auspicious occasion of Aryan New Year Nausar.
In his message of felicitations and greetings, CEC Khan said that Nausar festival renews the age-old traditions of tolerance, communal harmony, love and brotherhood, which the people of Ladakh have cherished and nurtured over the centuries and needs to be further strengthened in the present era.
CEC Khan added that the people of Aryan valley add value to the socio-cultural diversity of Kargil and have preserved their cultural identity very well.

The CEC said that due to the COVID -19 pandemic, the celebrations have been restricted a bit, however the zeal and passion for the festival still remains the same.
Deputy Commissioner Baseer ul Haq Choudhary greetings to the people of Aryan Valley in his message said that Nausar is an important festival of Aryan culture that renews and promotes the age-old traditions of amity, brotherhood, love and tolerance among the people of Ladakh.
The DC in his message has applauded the diversity in cultures of the different places of Ladakh. Baseer said that the customs and traditions of Aryan Dards have attracted numerous culture lovers from across the globe and hoped that the tribe preserves it’s traditions and customs in future as well.
The DC has also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the people on this auspicious occasion. Meanwhile, the Executive Councilor for Social Welfare Aga Syed Hassan Armaan, Executive Councillor for Works Mubarak Shah Nagvi, Executive Councillor for Zanskar Affairs Er Phunsog Tashi and Executive Councillor for Agriculture Muhammad Ali Chandan have also wished the people of Aryan Valley on Nausar and have prayed for peace, progress, amity and prosperity in whole Ladakh.
