Kargil/ Jan. 26/ News Desk: The personal secretary to the CEC Kargil Feroz Khan in a press release has nullified the allegations by the MP Ladakh regarding Tableaux row.
Earlier the MP Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal in an interview to media had accused the CEC Kargil for not representing Kargil in the Tableaux made in Delhi.
“It was ironic to note that just one aspect of the Ladakhi culture has been depicted and that too with a very misleading theme of “Vision for Future”. The remarks of Hon’ble MP Ladakh Shri Jamyang Tsering Namgyal in this regard wherein he blames the Chairman/CEC LAHDC Kargil is completely baseless and unfounded”, read the press release.

“The Hon’ble Chairman/CEC LAHDC Kargil has not been in knowledge of the process of the tableaux selection process, nor was the LAHDC Kargil taken into confidence in this regard at any level. If the Hon’ble Chairman/CEC LAHDC Kargil would have been in knowledge of the process he wouldn’t have had written to the LG requesting his intervention in the matter”, added the press release.

“The discriminatory attitude adopted visa vis Kargil in this regard is highly condemnable and unbecoming of a public representative.”

“Hon’ble Chairman/CEC LAHDC Kargil also condemns the balatant attack on senior leaders of Kargil by MP Ladakh in his media bytes. It is reiterated that various tactics have been employed to alienate Kargil, one of which is discrediting the Kargil leadership in various forms on the social media.”

It is pertinent to mention that the “discriminatory attitude” in the making of Tableaux for the Republic Day has ignited a new controversy in Ladakh.
