Rigzen Dolker Became “First Woman Everester From Ladakh”
Leh/ Dec. 28/ News Desk/ Everester Rigzen Dolker, proud daughter of Sonam Nurboo and Tsetan Tsomo from Terchay Nubra scaled Mount Everest, the world highest peak in May 2016 and became the first and only woman Everester from Nubra_Valley.
She did her schooling from Moravian Mission School and Army Public School Phyang. Later on, she was conferred with State award for her contribution in adventure sport.
Currently, she is working with Indian Mountaineering Foundation.

Miss Stanzin Ladol Everester received Sher-i-Kashmir award for being the first woman from Ladakh to achieve the feat of climbing Mount Everest from Ladakh. She climbed Mount Everest on 2nd June, 2005.
